In an interview with CVG, talks about how in Milestone Studios Game Director Michele Celetti will grab a wider audience by offering the fourth SBK finely tuned racing experience to the hardcore fans that are used to as well as a no-nonesense, pick up and play the thrills for Newcomers to the sport.
You've said that your end goal for SBK X has been along time, that you've been working toward this game for the past four years.
We started working on the new SBK game license in 2007, so it's the fourth instalment of the series but it's the biggest leap. We always have many ideas ready for the next edition.
If you have to put out a complete game, finished, tweaked every year, every year you can not put in everything you're thinking about. So you start with a broader planning cycle and SBK X is the most complete result we have achieved up to now.
Considered to be your biggest competitor has to Moto GP and the reviews for that game were perhaps a little disappointing this year. Moto GP is always beating in the back of your mind? How do you think this year you can and Capitalism? What will put ahead of the Moto GP SBK X.
Of course we wanted to make a better game this year. We have two worlds in one game, with the full simulation and arcade mode of SBK X.
They are very different physics and different experiences with different modes. We also have all of the championships and official libraries, riders and so on, we've got the legendary roster and that is really really important for us because, although you know the current champions might shout or follow current superbike racing, who does not t know Carl Fogarty, Troy Bayliss and so on.
So it's one of our great weapons when it comes to standing out.
