Jean Monnet Scholarship for 2011-2012 ACADEMIC YEAR ANNOUNCEMENT
European Union (EU) is a project funded by the Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, within the framework of the Republic of Turkey to the EU target of full membership, meeting the need for staff to have information about the EU acquis, acquis aims to the creation of the necessary administrative capacity for effective implementation.
In this context, for the 2011-2012 academic year, about 100 people planned to faydalandırılması scholarships. Information on scholarships, the scope and terms of reference are given below. The selected study areas consist of the EU acquis chapters. To learn about these topics the General Secretariat of the European Union (www.abgs.gov.tr) and the European Commission Delegation to Turkey (www.avrupa.info.tr) examination is recommended websites.
Scholarship will not be on issues other than the above-mentioned areas. Scholars pointed out the application form, but their choice and be able to make on the subject of academic study, and there will be no change in the chosen field of study.
· Approximately 100 scholarships for the academic year 2011-2012 will be allocated. 60% of the public sector of the scholarship, 30% universities, 10% was allocated to the private sector. · Scholarship allowances and the host country to ensure a minimum standard of living based on the views of relevant authorities in that country, for each year is determined by the Jean Monnet Joint Committee. Scholarship fund, education, travel, accommodation, books, meals, transportation, bank transfers, foreign exchange for the eurozone member states, visa, health, local authorities, registration, health insurance, all taxes and similar expenses.
· Is determined to meet the costs of the Jean Monnet Scholarship for scholars only, an additional allowance to those who are not going with his family.
· Scholars programs for universities or educational institutions in EU member states to be accepted (Acceptance) is expected. However, the Jean Monnet Joint Committee, to be compatible with programs that provide work areas and equal distribution of scholarships to EU countries in order to supervise the placement of the right of final decision.
· Scholars working in related fields are expected to make his return to Turkey at the end.
Admission Requirements
1. Jean Monnet Scholarship Programme, who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey, Turkey is already public, the private sector and those working in universities, industry, the "public sector", "private sector" and "university sector" can apply quotas.
Ø universities in Turkey last year at the undergraduate level, graduate (masters or PhD) students of those who work with the academic or administrative positions, "the university" may apply to industry.
